This guy drove totally ILLEGALLY in cycle path!

I think this is the first time I’ve seen something like this.

Protected cycle paths, like the ones we have here in Paris, are safeguarded with cement barriers. Yet this driver just turned left, completely disregarding traffic rules. He didn’t even notice what he was doing and drove right onto the cycle lane, even cutting off people heading to the bus stop.

When I mentioned that he could lose three points on his license, he basically shrugged it off and said, “Shit happens,” showing he didn’t care at all. I’ve never seen anything like it. He wasn’t from Paris, but he didn’t even try to excuse himself.

If you drive, you need to pay attention and respect traffic laws. If you can’t do that, you shouldn’t be driving.
