Just setting off from having stopped at the Excelsior traffic lights and the kerb ahead was full of debris and dangerous to cycle in. Also the cycle lane virtually comes to an abrupt end. The vehicle can be seen 200 metres behind and continues in the same lane and passes with only a few centimetres. The driver had ample vision and time to move right into the other lane and give the required clearance but decided that they would remain in the same lane. As they were passing the vehicle can be seen slightly slowing next to me as they knew they were close.
