No Need to stop at pedestrian crossings

After approaching the crossing I activated flashing crossing lights, there are also signs marking it and there was pedestrian waiting. Waited for several cars to pass and once there was a big gap and cars appeared to be slowing down, I started moving forward into shoulder. Despite me obviously trying to cross and other person waiting and flashing lights as well as signs, two cars continued through.
