Left turn crunch

Riding in the bike lane, a driver turned their car across the bike lane to turn left.

I didn’t immediately notice their indicators as I was avoiding the myriad potholes in the rather crappy bike lane, I brakes hard, but made relatively soft contact with the rear passenger door. Left a mark.
