Bicycle vs Car collision – Car failure to yield and was cited

Bicyclist was traveling northbound on Vista Blvd.
approaching the intersection of Satellite and Vista. The motorist was traveling
eastbound on Satellite, crossing Vista. The motorist failed to yield right of way,
pulling out on to Vista and in front of cyclist, causing the cyclist to strike the right
front section of the vehicle. The bicycle sustained totaling damage from the incident
due to the construction and composition of the frame and wheels. The damage is
significant to the frame and wheels which renders the bicycle unsafe and beyond
economical repair. Bicyclist sustained multiple injuries and was ambulanced to ER.
